I got the new part of Bartimaeus and must say that I am pleasantly surprised.
Since nathanael (held parts of the last Ptolemy) is dead, can this band of course not be more story. This book here is rather to be understood as a kind of prehistory, inwelcher Bartimaeus (a Djinn of "higher category") that Jerusalem of King Solomon beherscht - And environment - makes uncertain. can the entire story revolves mainly around the ring of Solomon courted say, just by turning what times, entire flock of the most vicious demons summon.
Bartimaeus gets to the contract, of course, to steal the ring just that (it knows).
my opinion, a successful continuation in any case history with / as usual, good comment and a somewhat surprising good end!
