content of Chess Story:
Take a boat trip from New York to Buenos Aires is the narrator of the arrogant world chess champion, Mirko Czentovic only close when this agreed, to all amateur players together to play a game. As this seems lost, Dr. B. intervenes in the game and brings out a draw against Czentovic yet. By Dr. B's strange game fever curious, the narrator wants to know more about him. Then he tells Dr. B. from his months of solitary confinement in the Vienna Gestapo prison where he escaped the asylum are only in that he act out of a stolen chess book chess games. When he then began to play against himself, he suffered a sort of "chess poisoning," which brought in from the edge of madness, but had his release from prison, the consequence. The game against Czentovic Dr. B's first game was ever since. The second game he is playing alone against the world champion, he won sovereignty. In the rematch, however, again shows all the symptoms of the "Chess poisoning," whereupon Dr. B. cancels the game and no longer wants to touch chess pieces. The amendment has only slightly less than 100 pages, but is still exciting and thrilling says. Especially the part that Dr. B. from his memoirs from prison, can cheer the reader.
In Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis is about Gregor Samsa, transformed into a beetle-like creature, and therefore the family is a burden. Typical of the style of Kafka, is that the transformation is not the main theme of the book, but was made direct with the first set. Kafka's work is a much discussed book, which is replaced by many experts to many different interpretations.
